Data-Informed Decision-Making
Apryl is a champion of turning rage into reason, combating burnout by empowering fellow educators.
In her work as a Social Studies Program Specialist for the Orange County, Florida Public Schools, Apryl sees her role in elevating and amplifying her staff and students as critical in the highly-charged political climate where she lives and works.
Apryl is data driven, modeling how to mine, interpret and utilize data in instructional and administrative decision-making. Her user-friendly framing of the topic, coupled with her approachable coaching style, makes her a favorite of colleagues in her district, nationally, and around the world.
Currently, Apryl is showcasing “Embracing the Whole Child: Extending the WELCOME MAT (Masterfully Agentic & Actionable Teachers)” as a new framework for helping all students to be healthy, safe, engaged, supported, challenged and successful.
