Welcome to my speaker’s page!  I started my career successfully in the corporate world, but I knew there was more work I wanted and needed to do. Drawing on the early influences of teachers in Peru, I pursued my career in education, where I now am fulfilling my dream supporting immigrant families, helping their children grow and realize their full potential.

I bring a different perspective as an immigrant educator, like our immigrant students who are demographically underrepresented. We need more bilingual educators across the nation and male Hispanic teachers, in particular, in our schools.

I am committed to amplifying students' and peers' work in the field, from showcasing their achievements in writing and presentations to bringing research into practice to promote cultural responsive practices. I lead by example, and I look forward to sharing my passion for this work with you.
